The Internet/Web has become a catalyst for authors to create online courses
They will not eliminate campuses, nor will they eliminate the need for instructors, but their existence may change our role as teachers
Currently there is no catalog of these courses, nor is there a way to evaluate their quality
Technology to create, deliver, and receive these courses is readily available
