Theme: Software Cost Estimation and Risk Management
The topic of this year's Forum is software estimation and
risk management. In particular we solicit papers that explore the
interactions between estimation and risk management. For example, cost
models can be used to identify risk items and quantify risk exposure.
Risk analysis methods like Monte Carlo simulation can be applied to cost
models. The likelihood of meeting a cost estimate depends on implementation
of good risk management.
As in recent years, the Forum will be complemented by a
USC Affiliates' workshop on the theme topic. The overall schedule is listed
below.
