Management Information System
The Center for Software Engineering needed a
system that will produce useful quality management data to be then
used by the Experience
Management System (EMS) for analysis and fostering organizational
learning. The Quality Management System (QMIS) was built to fulfill
this need.
QMIS not only organizes data for future analysis but also provided guidelines for quality assessment techniques
and a data tracking system for the projects of CSCI 577 developed as a part of the course-work by the students.
It is an easy to use system and provides a means of collecting and tracking data of the quality artifacts produced by the CS577
students. It also provides a stable and user-friendly system for the students to understand the different
assessment techniques and download the latest versions of the review forms and provide the graders and the
students the latest versions of documents such as the grading criteria.
