Download and run the Terminal Services Client program

Follow the instructions to connect ClearCase program in cse-class.usc.edu server:

1. Click here, and save the program “MSTCS.EXE” from its current location to your computer.

2. Click here, and save the help file from its current location to the same place you copy the program.

3. Now, double click on the MSTSC.EXE file, and the Terminal Services Client window appears.

4. For the Server type cse-class.usc.edu or 128.125.3.18

5. For Screen Area, select 800x600 or 1024x768 (depending on your screen size)

6. Click the Connect button.

7. After the login dialog appears, press Ctrl-Alt-Break to make the WinPOS window full-screen.  (Hold down the Ctrl and Alt keys and press the Break key then release all the keys)  

8. You will be prompted for your username and password.  Enter them and WinPOS will start to connect to the server.

9. To disconnect, select Start and Log Off your username. Do not SHUTDOWN or RESTART the server. When you access to the server, and see that Rational ClearCase is automatically started then you only need to close the program to disconnect from the server.

10. To re-connect, double click on the Terminal Services Client program.  Once the window displays, click Connect.
