Background:
Korean Heritage Library currently provides web-based finding aids for microforms, serials, and videos/DVDs.

http://www.usc.edu/isd/archives/arc/libraries/eastasian/korea/resources/serials-a.html
http://www.usc.edu/isd/archives/arc/libraries/eastasian/korea/resources/video-ab.html
These lists have been created and updated manually, which is an extremely time-consuming job. Also we are expecting to compile different types of web-based finding aids.

Problem:
The proposed system will generate web-ready tables for different types of Korean materials extracting bibliographic information from SIRSI database. Alphabetical and categorical finding aids will be created for microforms, serials and videos/DVDs. Tables for microforms and serials will provide title(s) in English and Korean, call number with Homer link and online full-text link, if available. For videos/DVDs, title(s) in English and Korean, call number with Homer link and language information for each item will be listed.

If possible, system will enable to generate web-ready tables for different types of lists such as new booklists.
