AGREEMENT
The non-proprietary* software, including reports and documentation, you are developing in USC Computer Science courses 577a&b, 510, and 511 involves the use of software tools and components copyrighted by the USC Center for Software Engineering. The intent of the Center's copyright is not to prohibit people from developing commercial products based on the tools and components developed in these courses, but to ensure that all interested parties have an equal opportunity to do so and that USC's rights are not constrained..
The Center also applies this copyright approach to copyright in the name of USC all non-proprietary software, reports and documentaion, developed in the CS 577a&b, 510 and 511 courses. Please sign a copy of this agreement below to acknowledge that you are aware of this condition and agree to it, and keep a copy for your records.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.

* Proprietary software includes software you develop for your employer, which while it may be the subject of process data gathering, remains the property of your employer. Non-proprietary software includes assignments and artifacts generated to specifications provided by the course and web sites generated in response to course assignments.
