This appendix presents the software architecture for the Mission Planning function. The contents of this appendix are as follows:
* assumptions upon which the architecture was developed
* DFDs indicating the functional breakdown of the Mission Planning area and the data that flows into and out of Mission Planning and between the functions within Mission Planning
* a CFD indicating the temporal dependencies of the functions in this area
* benchmarks used to evaluate the impact of any driving performance requirements
