The Ground System Architectures Workshop (GSAW2009), in its 13th year, provides a forum for the world’s spacecraft ground system experts to collaborate with other ground system users, developers, and researchers through tutorials, presentations, working groups, and panel discussions on issues and solutions.
This year the program committee is looking for presentations covering all aspects of spacecraft ground systems, with a special focus on how ground system architectures can respond to user needs and deliver capabilities. Sessions will address methodologies, lessons learned, business cases, and advanced technologies for topics including:
• Human factors, work load, and effectiveness
• Operations, sustainment, and multi-mission support
• Net-centric and service-oriented architectures
• Systems-of-systems, horizontal integration, and complex systems
• Autonomy and automation for timely response
• Architecture modeling
• Mission assurance, program risk, and change management
• Off-the-shelf and open-source components and software reuse
• Space and ground communication architectures
• Frameworks and infrastructure
• Information assurance, security, and cyber warfare
• Rapid system development
• Mission planning and data analysis
• Interoperability and standards
