The candidate breakout group topic areas are the same as the challenge areas identified above: 1. Groupware technology base; 2. Models of collaboration and application domains; 3. People factors Other breakout group areas can be suggested before and during the workshop. For each selected area, the breakout group will discuss such topics as the most critical issues in the area; the most promising opportunities; and suggestions and priorities for USC-CSE and other research. The group's end product will be the summary briefing, including notes and priorities. USC graduate students will be available as breakout group scribes.
